The MLC measures level hydrostatically through a purge (bubbler) tube: apart from the dip tube, nothing contacts the medium, so it keeps working where contact instruments fail — high temperature (media -196 C to +450 C), high vacuum, viscous, crystallizing, radioactive and heavily fouling liquids.
Built with the MFC1 purge device as a complete bubbler system, it offers linear correction, automatic error compensation and self-diagnostics, with a dot-matrix LCD and local keys for setup. Anti-clogging, anti-backflow and heat-traced designs are available.
Key Features
- Non-contact principle — ideal for corrosive, viscous, crystallizing and radioactive media
- Automatic output tracking keeps purge flow stable as back-pressure changes
- Works with gas source and differential pressure transmitter as a complete system; DCS / PLC ready
- Explosion-proof design with built-in keyboard for safe local setup in hazardous areas
- Transmitter options from mainstream brands can be integrated on request
