The MF1 is an all-metal variable area (float) flow meter for liquids, gases and steam. A magnetically coupled float drives the local pointer and the modular transmitter without any additional penetration of the measuring tube, so the meter stays leak-tight at pressures up to 42 MPa (Class 2500) and process temperatures from -196 C to +450 C.
Vertical bottom-in/top-out, top-in/bottom-out and horizontal installations are available, together with high-temperature, cryogenic, jacketed, hygienic and PTFE/PFA-lined corrosion-resistant versions. The modular transmitter can be exchanged or upgraded on site, and 14 built-in self-diagnostics watch the sensor, float and electronics continuously.

Measuring tube and float in 304, 316, 304L, 316L, 304/PTFE, 316/PTFE, PTFE, Hastelloy, titanium, Inconel, Monel or ceramic. Indicator housing in cast aluminium or 304/316 stainless steel. Jacketed version available for crystallising media.
What media can the MF1 measure?
Liquids, gases and steam. Wetted parts are available in stainless steel, PTFE/PFA lining, Hastelloy, titanium and other alloys, so corrosive media such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and caustic soda can be metered.
