The MF3 target flow meter is built for the jobs other meters avoid: low flow velocities, very large diameters, dirty gases and viscous or fouling liquids. A Hall sensor measures the deflection of the target rod, so the sensor itself never touches the medium and there are no moving parts to wear.
The flow range can be changed simply by exchanging the target plate — no new meter is needed. Fully welded, dead-angle-free construction withstands 42 MPa, and integrated temperature and pressure compensation with the IAPWS-IF97 steam tables is available.
Key Features
- Laser-sputtered sensor and fully welded lever structure; sensor isolated from the medium
- Insertion version for large diameters, easy to remove for service
- Anti-fouling and interference immunity for dirty, impure media
- Measures gas and liquid from -100 C to +450 C
- Optional perfluoroplastic wetted construction for corrosive service
- Small-signal cut-off, non-linear correction and adjustable filtering
